June Visits

Anita and David have lived at the Garth for 36 years during which time their wonderful garden has been developed.  This is a steeply sloping site down to ancient caves adjacent to Cannock Chase.

The garden is full of a huge variety of trees, shrubs and perennials with clematis clambering up massive trees.

The number of cars parked nearby told us to expect a goodly number of members, friends and family (apparently around 35 – everyone was too busy buying, talking and eating to count accurately).

Entrance to Angela’s rear garden was around the garage and past the tables stacked with members’ choice plant offerings.  We could only look until the hooter sounded!

So into the garden and what delightful artistic planting.  The area near the garage was quite narrow but your eye was caught by the sight of a magnificent Cornus opposite a gap in the border – you just had to go and look.
