David Austin Roses again proved to be a popular place to visit and the rose lovers amongst us were in their element.
“One area which particularly caught my eye was a false old green door in the large wall at the bottom of the garden which was surrounded by pots of scented pelargoniums and a rose covered trellis which just invited you to enter.
Penny’s talent as a plantswoman shone through in every part of the garden with beautiful, unusual plants far too numerous to mention.
There was the usual rush for plants when the bell sounded followed by very welcome tea and cake”.
